MIDWIFEPLUS PLATFORM TERMS OF USE
1. Introduction
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the MidwifePlus website and platform (“Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
2. About MidwifePlus
MidwifePlus operates an online marketplace that enables individuals seeking maternity-related support to connect with independent registered midwives.
MidwifePlus is not a healthcare provider and does not provide clinical, medical, midwifery, nursing, or healthcare services.
All services advertised through the Platform are provided solely by independent practitioners.
3. User Eligibility
Users must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Provide accurate information.
- Use the Platform lawfully and responsibly.
4. Nature of the Platform
MidwifePlus:
- Facilitates introductions between clients and independent midwives.
- Does not employ, supervise, manage, or direct midwives.
- Does not provide healthcare advice or treatment.
- Is not responsible for clinical decisions made by midwives.
Any contract for services is formed directly between the client and the chosen midwife.
5. User Responsibilities
Users agree not to:
- Provide false information.
- Misuse the Platform.
- Harass or abuse other users.
- Upload unlawful, offensive, or misleading content.
6. Feedback and Reviews
Users may submit feedback regarding their experience.
Feedback is intended to promote transparency and assist future users.
MidwifePlus does not use feedback as a formal complaints or disciplinary process and does not determine professional misconduct based on user feedback.
7. Complaints and Concerns
Concerns regarding services should be raised directly with the relevant midwife.
MidwifePlus does not investigate clinical complaints or determine professional liability.
Where appropriate, concerns may be raised with relevant regulatory bodies.
8. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, branding, logos, designs, and software remain the property of MidwifePlus.
No content may be copied or reproduced without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MidwifePlus shall not be liable for:
- Clinical outcomes.
- Professional advice provided by midwives.
- Loss, injury, damage, or claims arising from services provided by independent midwives.
- Disputes between users and midwives.
10. Suspension and Termination
MidwifePlus may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
