Important: MidwifePlus is a marketplace platform that connects independent midwives with prospective clients. MidwifePlus does not provide midwifery services and is not a party to any agreement between a midwife and a client.
Clients submit enquiries through the platform. Midwives can review available opportunities and choose whether to unlock the client’s contact details using tokens.
Tokens are the platform’s internal currency used to access a client’s contact details and enquiry information.
Tokens can be purchased through your MidwifePlus account. Current pricing is displayed on the platform.
No. All token purchases are non-refundable. Before unlocking an enquiry, you should carefully review the location and details provided to ensure the opportunity is suitable for your practice.
Once a token is used, you will gain access to the client’s contact details, allowing you to contact them directly to discuss their requirements.
No. Purchasing or using tokens does not guarantee that a client will engage your services.
Yes. A client enquiry may be visible to multiple midwives, and clients remain free to choose whether to engage any particular midwife.
All fees for services are agreed directly between you and the client. MidwifePlus does not collect, process, or manage payments for your professional services.
You are responsible for maintaining your NMC registration, professional indemnity insurance, training, compliance, record-keeping, and adherence to all applicable professional and legal requirements.
Yes. You must maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance and any other insurance required for your practice.
You are solely responsible for the services you provide, your clinical decisions, and your professional practice.
Clients should raise concerns directly with you in the first instance. As an independent practitioner, you are responsible for managing complaints relating to your services.
No. MidwifePlus does not investigate clinical complaints, determine professional misconduct, or adjudicate disputes between clients and midwives.
Yes. MidwifePlus reserves the right to suspend or remove profiles that do not comply with platform terms, onboarding requirements, or applicable legal and professional obligations.
