Last Updated: June 30, 2026

MIDWIFEPLUS CLIENT TERMS OF USE

These Client Terms of Use govern your use of the MidwifePlus platform and services. By using MidwifePlus, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About MidwifePlus

MidwifePlus is an online platform that connects expectant and new parents with independent midwives. MidwifePlus is not a healthcare provider and does not provide clinical care, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Independent Midwives

All midwives listed on the Platform are independent practitioners. Any maternity care, advice, support, or services are provided solely by the independent midwife and not by MidwifePlus.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information when requesting services and to communicate honestly with any midwife you engage through the Platform.

4. Booking Requests

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a midwife will be available. MidwifePlus will make reasonable efforts to connect you with suitable independent midwives.

5. Service Agreements

Any agreement for services is made directly between you and the independent midwife. MidwifePlus is not a party to such agreements.

6. Fees and Payments

Any Platform fees payable to MidwifePlus will be clearly displayed before purchase. Fees charged by independent midwives are agreed directly between the client and the midwife.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling arrangements are determined between the client and the independent midwife unless otherwise stated by MidwifePlus.

8. Medical Emergencies

MidwifePlus must not be used for medical emergencies. If you require urgent medical assistance, contact emergency services, NHS 111, your GP, maternity unit, or other appropriate healthcare provider immediately.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

Personal information will be processed in accordance with the MidwifePlus Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

10. Platform Availability

MidwifePlus does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform and may suspend, modify, or withdraw services without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MidwifePlus accepts no responsibility for clinical advice, treatment decisions, healthcare outcomes, acts or omissions of independent midwives, or disputes arising between clients and midwives.

12. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Platform, provide misleading information, engage in unlawful conduct, or interfere with the operation of the Platform.

13. Complaints

Complaints relating to Platform services should be submitted through the MidwifePlus complaints process. Clinical complaints may need to be addressed directly with the independent midwife and/or relevant regulatory bodies.

14. Termination

MidwifePlus reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform where these Terms are breached or where necessary to protect users or the integrity of the Platform.

15. Changes to Terms

MidwifePlus may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
